Maya A. Bordeaux, JD, MBA

Founder

Maya A. Bordeaux, JD, MBA is a nationally-recognized Human Resources executive, DEI strategist, and licensed attorney currently based in Colorado. In 2020, she ventured into consulting again and founded Lead With Love Consulting LLC. Maya has held complex and transformational leadership roles in dynamic midsize and large domestic and global companies. She currently serves as Chief People & Culture Officer at ATPCO, a privately held Virginia-based technology corporation that supports the airline and travel industry. Prior to her current role, Maya served as Chief Human Resources & Communications Officer at Tribune Publishing. She led a national team that provided HR and Communications services to over 4,500 employees across the company’s eight U.S. markets.

Maya has extensive human resources knowledge, and her superpowers are strategic leadership, culture transformations, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, organizational design, and executive coaching. She is a progressive and innovative HR veteran, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across an array of industries, including travel, media, consumer product goods, food and beverage, professional services, and healthcare.

Prior to Tribune, Maya held the position of Senior Vice President, People & Culture for Wilton Brands LLC. She previously held HR leadership positions with other prestigious brands, including McDonald’s Corporation, NorthShore University HealthSystem, and University of Chicago Medical Center. Maya dedicates a significant amount of her time to public service, has served on several boards, and provides pro bono legal counsel. She is also an accomplished public speaker. Maya holds a Juris Doctor degree and Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree from San Diego State University. 

Affectionately known by family and friends as “The Lady of Love,” Maya’s gregarious and tenacious personality coupled with her unparalleled commitment to helping and inspiring others, it makes perfect sense that she believes the best business outcomes result from leading with love.
